DESIRE4EU at the 2025 International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology (ISSE) in Budapest

The 2025 edition of the International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology (ISSE) in Budapest, Hungary, brought together academia and industry for an inspiring exchange on the future of electronics.

The conference opened with a welcome speech from our partners Attila Geczy and Oliver Krammer. Many thanks to Budapest University of Technology and Economics as the local organizing committee, and to all speakers and participants for their commitment.

The DESIRE4EU consortium was proud to take part in the discussions, particularly on themes closely aligned with our mission: sustainability, green electronics, bio-based solutions, and low-cost technologies.

Two keynote lectures were delivered by DESIRE4EU members:

  • Pascal Xavier, DESIRE4EU coordinator, presented new approaches in electronics to address global environmental challenges.
  • David Cuartielles from Arduino highlighted the role of open-source educational tools and the potential of emerging industrial technologies in education.

We also warmly congratulate Vincent Grennerat, who received an award for his impactful work, and thank Gergo Havellant for representing DESIRE4EU with a poster presentation.

ISSE 2025 was an excellent opportunity to highlight the work of DESIRE4EU, foster collaboration, and strengthen ties within the international electronics community. Together, we continue to advance towards a more sustainable and innovative future in the field.
